Wireless Communication System for military platforms (in-house product)

Themys is supplying several navies with Wireless Communication Systems (#WCS) based on a combination of KENWOOD and Themys product portfolio, developed to meet our customers' military specifications.

In particular, our solution offers following features:

• Pre-defined downgraded modes to allow system to work in case of system components damage
• Encrypted wireless communication (using AES 256 bit)
• Shock & vibration qualified bay (including shock absorbers)
• Themys made alarm management system to monitor all equipment (including in case of dual bay system) and manage radio emission silence
• Themys made multicoupler system to optimize signal reception in overall ship or submarine

Themys also performs overall system architecture in order to offer fully redundant system with dual bays. This solution is already deployed on numerous surface ships and submarines.
