THEMYS became as of the Nineties the principal radiocommunication
GMDSS (Global Maritime and Distress Security at Sea) stations supplier.
In order to bring an essential service for our customers, we thus
created the first school of training to the CGO (General Certificate
of Operator), obligatory training to exploit the regulation of communication.
In the same time, THEMYS consolidated its position of leader in
total solutions supply of satellite communications, becoming one
of the first European actors in this field. Going to one political
of development resolutely turned in complex project management,
the company decides since 2000 to create a technical team to take
charge of definition, design and realization, of total solutions
for shipyards.
With the realization of ship at high speed at ST MALO, and five
other liners at ST NAZAIRE, the company very quickly acquires a
ability and an expertise in this field.

The company continues its specialization by gaining
many contracts in military applications, which show our teams capacity
to participate into increasingly specific projects.
In parallel, THEMYS continues to take into account the complete
realization of civil ships, thus enabling us to reinforce our presence
in navigation bridges field, and safety equipments.
This will of the group to deal with electronic integrality of board,
naturally led us to invest in competence acquisition in embarked
distraction field, in information diffusion on board, or in high
flow V-sat transmissions field in C band or KU band.
Following its regular growth political and durable started since
its creation, THEMYS supplements first its market electronics embarked
cover by SEATEC
company which becomes its subsidiary company in 2002, and the second subsidiary MEDEE end of 2004.
Because of successes met these last years, and the all effort engaged
in the research of performance and growth, the Group is today trustful
on its future and can thus follow its growth.
