Themys usually integrates COTS speedlog and sounder from its historical partner SKIPPER ELECTRONICS based in Norway.
Indeed skipper electronics product gives the best value to price offer considering:
  • Best COTS performance on the market
  • Additional navy features available (eg accuracy, operating depth range)
  • Themys is able to perform extra qualification on products (eg shock test) to match most complex specifications
  • Themys regularly engage Skipper electronics to discuss add-on features
Core products include:
  • Echosounder (ESN100/200 based on a piezo transducer)
  • Doppler Speedlog (DL2)
  • Electromagnetic Speedlog (EML224)
These products are fully IMO type approved (Wheelmark) and supported in the long term through after sales support (tear down analysis, spare parts, etc.)

For specific military needs, we also integrate IXBLUE Seapix 3D multibeam echosounder.
